Goose and the Monkey Brewhouse is an award-winning 10 bbl brewhouse. We offer a wide selection of unique, inventive, craft beer brewed right here in our hometown of Lexington, NC. In addition to a diverse tap list, we also offer local wine, champagne, and a fully functional espresso bar from open to close. Making your experience at The Goose the best it can possibly be is our #1 goal.
Our owners Brent and Ashlee Moore hail from Lexington and are firm believers in community, and partnering with other local businesses in Lexington and the surrounding areas. And so began the Moore’s partnership with the Perfect Blend Coffee Co. owners Tyler and Madison Prevatte. The Perfect Blend has been a mainstay for our brand since day one. We house the roasting operations for The Perfect Blend in-house. We have also found many opportunities to collaborate with the addition of The Perfect Blends coffee in our beer.
This partnership grew beyond just delicious craft beverages and coffee. In an attempt to offer food as an option for their patrons, the Moores and Prevattes started Pour Folk Pizza. A mobile food trailer offering delicious flatbread pizzas. It wasn’t long after that PFP became a beloved food option for all of our regulars and new customers alike.
Our owners quickly expanded their original vision for delicious, fast-casual dining, on February 28, 2022, with the addition of Pour Folk Provisions Co. A brick-and-mortar expansion of Pour Folk Pizza. Offering fan-favorite flatbread pizzas, handhelds, and shareable plates.
In the spirit of innovation, Pour Folk Provisions Co. has undergone some exciting menu changes and is proudly now serving hand-tossed pizzas that are made to order in our beautiful new brick oven. In addition to scratch-made, made-to-order, hand-tossed pizzas, POFOPROCO offers a variety of fresh salads, rice bowls, and delicious shareable plates as of February 25, 2023.

In addition to exceptional craft beer we have an ongoing partnership with Lexington’s own Perfect Blend Coffee Co. The Perfect Blend merged their coffee roasting location with GMBH when we opened the taproom in 2020. We house their roasting system, and every ounce of coffee served at GMBH is from The Perfect Blend. We’ve collaborated on several coffee beers together, and in the spirit of innovation are always experimenting with new Beer/Coffee combinations. We have a fully functioning espresso bar in the taproom. Perfect for early risers, or late night pick-me-ups.
